Are You Ready To Transform Your Eyes & Skin Naturally?

A natural and effective treatment to stimulate collagen and elastin production, resulting in firmer, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin.

Polynucleotides can be injected anywhere on the face or body to help treat:

  • Fine lines

  • Crepey Skin/laxity

  • Undereye dark circles

  • Uneven skin tone & texture

  • Dehydrated skin

The latest revolutionary tools in regenerative medicine that work on a cellular level to repair tissue and boost skin quality.

First and foremost polynucleotides are not dermal fillers; they are known as bio-regenerators, bio-stimulators, or bio-revitalisers because they have a natural stimulatory effect on the skin to kick-start improvement in skin quality and achieve a more youthful appearance.

Polynucleotides (PN) are powerful, naturally occurring molecules that play a crucial role in skin rejuvenation. Found within the nucleic acids of our cells, these molecules are known for their remarkable ability to heal and repair skin tissue.

The purpose of injecting the polynucleotide-based injectable gels is to stimulate our own cells to produce some of the things that we lose with ageing.

Polynucleotides trigger the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin.

Collagen provides structural support and firmness to the skin, while elastin contributes to its elasticity. The decline in these proteins due to ageing leads to wrinkles and skin laxity. Polynucleotides help reverse this by boosting the production of these essential proteins.

Polynucleotides also calm inflammation and rebalance melanocyte activity to create an even and refreshed skin tone.

FAQs

What can Polynucleotides Treat?

Polynucleotides can be injected anywhere on the face or body to help treat:

  •  Fine lines

  • Crepey skin/laxity

  • Undereye dark circles

  • Uneven skin tone & texture

  • Dry, dehydrated skin

What happens during the procedure?

It is important to wear no makeup attending this appointment.

The skin is assessed and a numbing cream is applied.

Then multiple tiny injections are administered into the skin using a tiny needle.

Is there downtime?

As the injections need to be placed very superficially in the skin to do their job, there will be visible bumps and sometimes slight itchiness in the area treated that gradually reduce over the following days. As with any injectable treatment temporary redness, bruising & swelling are always a possibility.

How many treatments are needed?

For best results 3 treatments spaced 3-4 weeks apart are recommended.

It takes time for the collagen to get to work, so best results will be noticeable a few weeks after your completed course and usually last 6-9 months.

As with any collagen stimulating treatment, results vary depending on the ability of an individual's skin to respond.

Who cannot have this treatment?

Anyone with fish allergy (product is derived from salmon/trout without harm). Also not recommended in pregnancy/breastfeeding as for all injectable treatments.

Can this be used along with other skin treatments?

Yes absolutely. It works completely differently from antiwrinkle and dermal filler treatments so can be a great new addition to your treatment plan. Polynucleotides also as a great 'primer', meaning it can prepare the skin and make it more receptive to other skin treatments eg radiofrequency, microneedling, chemical peels etc.

What is the difference between Polynucleotides, Profhilo & Skinboosters?

Profhilo remains one of our most popular treatments at Fitzgerald Private Clinic in our clinics with good reason due to the concentrated level of hyaluronic acid hydration being delivered to the deeper layers of the skin.

Skinboosters offer only short term hydration to our outer skin layers.

Polynucleotides work differently by altering the DNA of the skin cells and encouraging the skin’s natural mechanisms to develop healthier cells, so results tend to take longer to appear, but then last longer overall. These can also be safely used around the delicate eye area, where other injectables are usually not suitable.

Polynucleotides can be used alone, or in combination with Profhilo or any other treatment (safe spacing of treatments would be advised on an individual basis).
